Hospitalization and meal charge standards

Hospitalization charges are calculated on a daily basis (24 hours) according to the standards of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. (ex.: Whether you are admitted early in the morning, such as 5:00 a.m., or at late in the evening such as 22:00 p.m., the same hospitalization charge of one day is calculated.)
Meal charge is calculated on a one-meal basis according to the standards of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

The meal fee is not charged when a meal is skipped due to a reason attributed to this hospital (treatment, test, etc.). However, if a meal is skipped due to a reason attributed to the patient (the meal was served but not eaten by the patient's choice, absent due to an overnight stay, the patient ate a meal at home, even after the hospital confirmed return time and prepared the meal), the meal fee will be charged.

(Infant formula prepared by the hospital is treated as one meal. A 460 yen meal fee is charged each time (meal). If provided more than four times (meals), it will still be counted as three meals.)
